In November 2013, we opened the first outpatient rehabilitation center in the nation dedicated solely to Parkinson’s Disease patients.  The Parkinson’s Disease Rehabilitation Institute is a 8500 sq/ft center with only one goal: to improve the lives of those living with Parkinson’s. This impressive and noble endeavour would not have been possible without the generosity of the community.  Our institute is funded entirely by charitable donations.  In the last year, we have made great strides in revolutionizing the care of people living with Parkinson’s Disease in the Cincinnati area.  However, our work is far from done.  In order to maintain the highest standard of care, we need your help.

100% of your donation will go towards improving the lives of people living with Parkinson’s. In addition to supporting our initial center, a portion of each gift will be utilized to expand access to this much-needed therapy in the Tri-State region, throughout the Midwest, and beyond. Through research on the economic impact of long-term rehabilitation on the direct medical costs of PD, we will generate data that will entice the insurance industry to cover long-term rehabilitation for people with PD. By proving that long-term rehabilitation decreases pharmacy use, hospital stays and Emergency Room visits in people with PD, we will provide strong evidence that insurance companies will save money in the long run by paying for this type of therapy.

The Parkinson’s Disease Rehabilitation Institute is a tax-exempt non-profit organization (501 (c) 3). All donations made to our organization are tax deductible. Following your online donation, a receipt will be automatically sent to your email address. If you choose to give by mail donations can be sent to:
